Want to become a leader at Scouting Eersel? Scouting Eersel is a youth association with approximately 100 members and is intended to offer children a few hours of relaxation per week. Being outdoors and working together are central to this. Our association has 6 youth groups: Beavers; boys and girls aged 4-7 > run every Saturday between 09:30-11:30 Brownies; girls aged 7-11 > run every Saturday between 09:30-11:30 Cubs; boys aged 7-11 > run every Friday between 18:30-20:30 Guides; girls aged 11-15 > run every Tuesday between 19:00-21:00 Scouts; boys aged 11-15 > run every Friday between 19:00-21:00 Rowans; young people aged 15-18 > run every Wednesday between 19:30-21:30 Each group has its own management staff consisting of volunteers who enjoy entertaining children and young people and are committed to ensuring that Scouting Eersel is and remains a fun association. We are still looking for volunteer staff members for almost all the different groups. Together with your fellow staff members, you are responsible for the group you are leading. Together, you arrange everything that comes with it. Think of: • Creating and providing programs during the group evening • Organizing weekends • Organizing summer camp • Finances • Membership administration • Contact with parents In addition, you have a number of Scouting-wide tasks. For example, there are various committees within Scouting Eersel that each take on the organization of a Scouting-wide activity. Think of organizing the Christmas celebration, carnival activity, flea market, etc. As a staff member, you are part of at least one committee. You are also expected to help during all activities that are organized across Scouting. What do you have to do to become a staff member?
