As an Electro-Mechanical Designer, your role is essential in contributing to challenging business cases and technical roadmaps from a mechanical perspective and in a multi-disciplinary context. In this role, you support our customers in the high-tech industry with developing cutting-edge equipment, both in the Brainport region and internationally. Together with experts in mechanics, mechatronics, electronics, software, and mathematics, you will bring high-tech solutions to life, such as advanced lithography machines, compact electron microscopes or medical devices that automate human tissue analysis.

• Challenging and creative electromechanical designs. The Inspection & Analysis domain demands higher data throughput, faster results, and greater precision, requiring technically innovative solutions.
• Product and technology development from concept to operational product, whether it's a one off design or a serial production project.
• Close collaboration with the system architect, mechanical & electrical colleagues, project manager, other engineering disciplines, suppliers, and the wider project team to ensure alignment and synergy.
• Translating specifications into an (electro-) mechanical concept, including budgeting, conceptual and detailed design, testing needs, and integration requirements-ensuring a successful development cycle and a high quality final product.
• Contributing to the electromechanical competence within our organization.
