As a sailor, you have an executive role. You will work with other crew members and assist them with their duties.Taking note of daily tasks to be carried out and discussing them with the captain and/or colleagues if necessary.Securing and unsecuring the ship.Maintaining the ship: painting, maintaining ropes and steel wire, tidying up, cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment.Operating machinery correctly and carefully.Performing various household tasks, such as keeping the living quarters clean and providing meals for all those on board.To see on what ship you will be sailing on, have a look here: https://vacatures-binnenvaart.nl/portfolio-item/vacature-matroos-mcs-nedship-nw-2/You will be sailing for 14 days and then will be off for 14 days. 4 weeks work, 4 work off is also an option....
