Front Office Agent (Parttime/Fulltime) - Zaan Hotel Amsterdam Zaandam

Zaan Hotel Amsterdam Zaandam is looking for a Front Office Agent (Part-Time / Full-Time). As a receptionist, you handle check-in and check-out, ensure guests feel at home, inform them about the best hotspots in Zaandam, listen to their experiences, perform administrative tasks, and resolve and prevent complaints. You are the face of the hotel.

• Responsible for check-in and check-out in a professional, pleasant and efficient way.
• Receiving guests and showing them around the hotel and the surrounding area.
• Preparing invoices and arranging payments.
• Accepting and making reservations.
• Handling and following up on any complaints.
• Correctly handling incoming and outgoing telephone calls and e-mail traffic.
• Other administrative tasks.

• Knowledge of at least Dutch and English, preferably a third foreign language.
• Knowledge of MEWS Hotel Reservation System is an advantage.
• Fresh appearance and presentable.
• Stress-resistant and able to switch easily between quiet and busy shifts.
• Customer-oriented, willing to provide optimal service with customization when needed.
• Sense of responsibility, alert, and a (pro-)active attitude.
• Team player with clear communication with guests and colleagues.
